Joe left the engineering field to pursue his lifelong dream of becoming an artist. His experience as an electrical engineer was rewarding and enjoyable. Joe worked mostly in the medical field and he has a U.S. patent for one of his inventions!

Joe started his artistic journy with drawing. His main focus is realisum, making sure his values are correct. Joe pays close attention to each aspect of a painting, focusing on compositions with elements that lead the viewers eye off the canvas. Usually, Joe sees human quality in the subjects he paints. Joe seeks out things that have been handled a lot and show wear and tear. "I try to create a tuned in, saturated reality."
